Days of Wine and Roses-Reprise

Okay, I just couldn't wait until tomorrow for this! I just finished writing the scariest scene of the book so far! It freaked me the hell out. (I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm the only one up in the house right now.)

I've renamed Chapter Thirteen from "Bomber" to "Reach", which I'm sure you'll understand when you've read it. This scene also unexpectedly ends this chapter, so I've got some re-work to do on my outline. All in all, this chapter is FAR more exciting than originally planned and helps to perpetuate the next to into a more tense environment, which if you've read my previous work you know can be pretty white knuckling.

Days of Wine and Roses

Well well well ... look who decided to show his face once again. Um yeah, that would be me.

Did I mention once that life gets in the way. Well it does, but I can't blame my absense solely on that. You see, whenever I reach the dead center of a book (and this happened with "Juggler" too), I tend to lose steam or interest or both. It seems like the book isn't going where I want it to, or I just plain don't care for the writing. A long vacation from the work ensues until either I'm pushed back into it (Thank you Holly) or I somehow decided that enough is enough and force my way through.

With a looming deadline and a dedicated woman, I'm back.

Life, although rough at times has been utterly fantastic. I'm sure I'll get more into details as the days progress, but for now I've got to get back to work. I've been asked to complete two chapters by Thursday and I don't intend to disappoint, so I'll more than likely be up all night with this group of interesting characters.
